Your Project, Treated as Seriously as You Treat It.
The scope and accountability of our work depend on who appoints us and where your asset is in its life. This page explains how we are appointed, how engagements run, and how every deliverable is reviewed and controlled.
Built for the People Who Carry the Risk.
Your appointment, your question, and the engineering that answers it.
“Will this asset perform the way it was financed to?”
Independent studies, design and vendor review, construction oversight and performance verification — as your Owner's Engineer.
“Can we get construction-ready engineering on programme, first time through utility review?”
Coordinated four-Discipline design, studies and site support as your Detailed Engineer, LV to 765 kV.
“We need specialist studies to win and deliver — under our name.”
Equipment-interface design, grid and protection studies and detailed packages, confidential or white-labelled.
“Where are our safety gaps, energy losses and failure risks?”
Arc flash, safety, energy, thermography and power quality audits — measured on site and reported against the limit.
“How do we make technical acceptance traceable against the contract?”
Specification and bid review, quality surveillance, test witnessing and documented acceptance recommendations.
“Is our power architecture really as resilient as we promise?”
Tier and redundancy studies, UPS and BESS design, transfer testing, tier compliance audits and Envox monitoring.
Across the Life of Your Asset.
- PlanFeasibility, options and viability before capital is committed.
- DesignDesign basis, calculations, coordinated drawings and construction release.
- BuildConstruction oversight, testing, commissioning and energisation.
- OperatePerformance verification, audits and protection in the first operating years.
- ManageSteady-state asset management, compliance and optimisation.
- RenewRetrofit, uprating, repowering and life extension — feeding the next plan.
We weigh cost, time, reliability and future-readiness together. Engineering continuity carries design knowledge into commissioning, audits, optimisation and renewal.
Two Views of the Same Journey.
The Asset Lifecycle describes the life of your asset. The Project Stages describe the detailed steps of a single Project.
| Asset Lifecycle | Project Stages |
|---|---|
| Plan | Feasibility & Concept |
| Design | Detailed Design · Tender & Procurement (specifications and bid evaluation) |
| Build | Tender & Procurement (FAT and inspection) · Construction · Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning |
| Operate | Operation & Maintenance — first operating years |
| Manage | Operation & Maintenance — steady state |
| Renew | Retrofit and upgrade engineering, leading into a new Feasibility & Concept stage |
Use the Lifecycle to see where your asset is. Use the Project Stages on each Sector page to see exactly what we deliver next.
Engineering for Your Role.
| Your organisation | Our role | When you need us | Typical support |
|---|---|---|---|
| Owners & Developers | Owner's Engineer | You need an independent technical view before committing capital, selecting suppliers or accepting performance. | Feasibility and grid studies; independent design and vendor reviews; construction oversight; commissioning, audits and O&M. |
| EPC Contractors | Detailed Engineer | You carry the delivery contract and need coordinated engineering from bid to construction release and site support. | Design basis, drawings and calculations; power system studies; equipment specifications and schedules; construction-query resolution. |
| OEMs & Sub-Consultants | Design Partner | You need studies or design to bid, integrate equipment or complete a specialist package under your own commitments. | Equipment-interface design; specialist studies; detailed packages; confidential or white-labelled deliverables where required. |
| Government, PSUs & Authorities | Owner's or Independent Engineer | You procure through a tender or concession and need review, inspection and technical assurance against the contract. | Specification and bid review; design review; quality surveillance; test witnessing; documented technical acceptance recommendations. |
Independent When It Matters.
Elegrow does not act as Detailed Engineer and as Owner's or Independent Engineer on the same Project. When we review a design, witness a test or recommend technical acceptance, we have not produced the work we are assessing.
How an Engagement Runs.
- EnquiryYou share the asset, location, Project Stage and support needed.
- Scope definitionWe confirm the appointment, applicable standards and the deliverables required.
- ProposalScope, deliverables, inputs, programme and commercial terms are set out in writing.
- Kick-off and inputsAvailable data is collected and gaps are identified early.
- Design basisStandards, specifications and criteria are fixed for the Project.
- Engineering and field workStudies, design, testing or audits are carried out by the responsible engineers.
- Review and sign-offEvery deliverable is checked and signed by a qualified engineer before issue.
- Issue, comments and revisionYour comments are recorded and addressed in controlled revisions.
- HandoverFinal deliverables are issued for your records and next steps.
What We Need.
- Design or Study: single-line diagram or plant layout, connection voltage, load or generation capacity, site location and current stage.
- Testing or Audit: site address, equipment list, earlier reports and the standard or authority requirements to be met.
- Owner's Engineer: Project overview, contract structure, programme and the scope for independent review or supervision.
- Operation & Maintenance: plant capacity and age, current performance data and the improvement you want to achieve.
Who We Work With.
Depending on our appointment, we coordinate with your EPC Contractor, equipment suppliers and OEMs, utilities and grid operators, electrical inspectorates and approving authorities, and specialist test partners for testing above 400 kV — under Elegrow supervision.
Controlled, Reviewable, Signed.
ISO 9001:2015-Aligned
Our quality management practices follow the standard's requirements.
Numbered and Revision-Controlled
Every deliverable carries a document number and revision history.
Reviewed and Engineer-Signed
No deliverable is issued without review and a qualified engineer's signature.
Reviewable Evidence
Calculations, readings, curves and photographs are included so findings can be checked independently.
Traceable Test Results
Every measurement is identified with its instrument and calibration certificate.
Handover
Final issued deliverables and, where in scope, as-built documentation.
One Team Across Borders.
We deliver engagements in 13 countries. Our working hours overlap the Middle East, Europe, East Africa and Southeast Asia. Project reference details for international engagements are available on request under NDA.
Confidential by Default.
Project details are shared only with your permission. References are provided on request, subject to confidentiality, and white-labelled deliverables are available to OEMs and sub-consultants where the appointment requires.
